Funding scale
Canada announced C$880 million on October 22: over C$400 million for 439 CIHR health projects and over C$480 million through CRTAS for 6,485 master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.
Different funding instruments
UANWORLD independently compares the announcement with budget estimates and distinguishes project grants from training awards. This is a review of recent funding results; dividing the total by recipients does not establish an individual award.
Implications for Taiwanese applicants
Editorial guidance: identify relevant research teams, then check nationality, enrolment and nomination requirements for each award. This report does not claim universal Taiwanese eligibility or count announced results as new open scholarships.
