US court pauses the new D/S rule on 14 September; the current student status system continues

The United States Federal Court suspended the fixed-term stay rule, which had been scheduled to enter into force on 15 September, and the D/S framework was maintained for the time being. This is a remedy during the proceedings and not a permanent setting aside rule; Taiwan's students to the United States are still required to identify themselves and to notify the school.
