Proposal and timing

The University of Arizona announced its fall 2027 tuition proposal on 5 October, maintaining standard undergraduate and graduate base rates. Arizona Board of Regents review is scheduled for November. The College Investor analysed the proposal on 12 October, distinguishing the announcement from final approval.

Separate base tuition from exceptions

The official FY28 table lists annual nonresident undergraduate base tuition of USD42,600 and standard nonresident graduate tuition of USD35,800, unchanged from FY27, with mandatory fees listed separately. Medicine and veterinary medicine show increases. The headline should therefore not be read as freezing every professional programme or expense.

Budgeting for Taiwanese families

Editorial guidance: confirm your fee classification, programme and applicable rate, then add housing, meals, insurance and travel. This is not an international scholarship or an admissions guarantee. Update your budget after board approval and your individual bill; base tuition is not the full annual cost.
