Canterbury’s 2026 spring scholarship brochure lists the NZ$16,500 Guardian Trust commerce award for students starting an MCom in 2027. The round runs from 1 September to 31 October.
Eligibility and selection
Full- and part-time study are permitted, for up to 120 points, without a nationality restriction. Taiwanese applicants must still meet MCom admission and scholarship selection requirements. The official rules provide one annual award; a directory’s multiple-awards field is not a guarantee.
Preparation
Search the full award name through myUC’s scholarship portal and prepare transcripts and documents requested by the current form. An old faculty-list link may lead to another award, so verify the name. Editorial guidance: separate funding from tuition and living costs; do not count an undecided award as confirmed income.
