The application for an English-language undergraduate course at Nagoya University, Japan, 30 (G30) will begin at 9 a.m. on 2 November 2026 (Japan time)**. G30 Courses are taught in English, enrolled in autumn, and Japanese-language learning arrangements are offered from the first grade.
It's not just English.
Applicants are required to prepare a certificate of high school graduation or expected graduation, a complete report card, an English proficiency and a designated standardized test according to the requirements of each course. The English test may be dispensed with in accordance with the official regulations only if the conditions are met for more than three consecutive years, including the last year when English is the main language of instruction.
Course and cycle minor reconciliations
An acceptable examination, a first course, an interview may differ from a rotation. The applicant shall be based on the current year ' s appointment instructions and shall not apply the rules of the ordinary Japanese language course to the G30.
Impact on students in Taiwan
Taiwan ' s high school students who use tests, SATs, IBs, A-Level or other international courses are required to confirm the proof of acceptance of the target course and the means of delivery. Official performance mail is arranged before the deadline for applications, which may result in incomplete information due to processing time.
Nagoya University has additional in-house and external scholarships, but admission to scholarships is a different procedure. Families should first be fully budgeted for international student tuition, accommodation and living expenses in Japan, and then consider scholarships yet to be awarded as an additional possibility.
