QQI’s statutory TrustEd Ireland quality mark addresses the international learner experience from before enrolment through course completion. The first official cohort comprised 28 higher education institutions authorised in January 2026, not 28 newly announced institutions in October.
The order of the check for Taiwan students
Check institutional authorisation and whether the programme meets current immigration requirements, then verify entry and residence rules for your nationality, length of stay and status. Institutional accreditation does not automatically grant individual immigration permission.
