Background: exam registration and university applications differ
SIEC published its 2027 registration information on 30 September. Checked on 22 October, final-year Bac registration in Paris, Créteil and Versailles runs from 7 October to 8 November; early French exam registration runs from 9 to 29 November. Mon Bac Français separately lists the same windows.
Key differences: academy and candidate status
These are not national deadlines. Strasbourg separately specifies 12 October at 08:00 to 10 November at 18:00, Paris time, for independent and non-regulated CNED candidates; schools handle enrolled pupils. Exam registration, document submission and Parcoursup applications are separate processes.
Checks for Taiwanese families
Families following the French curriculum or independent-candidate route should confirm academy, year, candidate category and subjects before checking Cyclades and school notices. French schools overseas may follow different arrangements. Editorial guidance: retain submission evidence and separately confirm document and validation deadlines.
