Study Australia explained on 7 October 2026 that BSB80120, the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning), no longer accepts new overseas-student enrolments from 5 October. The measure concerns this specific course code, not all graduate diplomas.

First establish whether study began before 5 October

Students who began the course before 5 October may complete it. For those who had not started, the course’s Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) was cancelled on 5 October. Students who paid fees should check acceptable replacement-course or unspent-tuition refund arrangements with their provider.

Study Australia says that following provider default, the institution must arrange a replacement accepted by the student or refund unspent tuition within 14 days. The Tuition Protection Service can assist if the provider fails to meet its obligations. Other courses in a package need separate status checks.

Do not equate a CoE change with automatic visa cancellation

Nationwide Migration’s practitioner analysis also distinguishes students by commencement, packaged enrolment and individual visa circumstances. A course title or a single CoE alone cannot establish every student’s position.

Students in Taiwan should keep the course code, commencement date, receipts and provider notices, assess whether any replacement serves their study goals, and confirm next steps with the institution and qualified professionals where needed. This report does not infer that anyone’s visa has been cancelled.
