Taiwan Applicants

Radcliffe official notes that from all parts of the United States and countries around the world, opportunities are open to general public, but there are different professional thresholds for different programs.

Applicants for humanities and social sciences are in principle required to obtain a doctorate or equivalent degree at least four years prior to application, with a certain academic publication record; Science, Engineering and Mathematics also require doctoral qualifications and a sufficient amount of refealed publications. Writers, journalists and the arts are examined according to their professional achievements and working conditions.

Those who are still studying their degree do not meet the normal Radcliffe Fellowship qualification, and this opportunity is therefore more suitable for Taiwan applicants who have completed their Ph.D. or have established professional creation/public writing results.

Content of the grant

The main financial support listed on the Fellowship official application page is US$ 78,000 stipend and US$ 5,000 project applications. Persons who qualify may also receive assistance related to relocation, housing, childcare and health insurance; The actual approval shall continue to be based on individual post-admission arrangements.

Proposals for action

The deadline for the humanities, social sciences, creative arts and journalism is very close. Taiwan applicants who have completed their research programmes, works or writing scripts should immediately confirm their qualifications and deliver them; If the material is not yet mature, it is not recommended to reduce quality in order to meet the deadline.

STEM applicants still have lead time until 1 October and recommend that priority be given to the completion of the research programme, the selection of representative papers and the confirmation of the proponents.
