Harvard Academy Scholars Program is a two-year post-doctoral programme for Harvard Academy for International and Area Studies. The candidates are expected to begin their first year on 1 August 2027, with an official election of approximately 5-6 Academy Scholars per year.

The deadline for this round of applications is 23:59 EDT on 18 September 2026. The application documents include the CV, up to 2,000 word research programmes, a sample of academic writings, information on doctoral achievements, and three letters of recommendation. Taiwan Student and Researcher Qualification

Content of the grant

Academy Scholars provides US$ 80,000 per year for two years of regular application, and US$ 6,000 per year for research support. Two years may be completed within three years, but the first year must start as stipulated in 2027 and cannot be postponed to the first year.
