Fullbright Taiwan's Experience America Research Award It is designed for researchers who have obtained a Ph.D. degree and provides an opportunity to study from 3 to 10 months in the United States. It is particularly valuable to those who have completed their doctoral training and are currently serving in Taiwan and who wish to expand the United States research and cooperation network.

Main eligibility

According to the official page, the applicant must:

Received a doctorate degree from universities in Taiwan or other non-English-speaking countries;
Full-time employment in domestic bodies in Taiwan upon application;
(a) Before the beginning of the award, he has served at the institution for more than one year;
(a) To obtain advice or permission from the highest executive officer of the office in charge;
Fulbright's other application and visa requirements for the year are met.

Content of the grant

The main support currently listed by the official authorities includes:

Total fixed cost of living approximately USD 9,600–32,000；
Settlement allowance agreement USD 3,000；
(b) Access to IRE units to assist with requests for visits;
The actual amount and conditions of implementation were finally approved by Fulbright Taiwan.
