The new school year in Australia is intended to involve recognition of enrolment, student visas, health insurance, accommodation and post-entry notification. Any missing link could slow down the opening arrangements.

1. Obtain CoE and submit student visas

Offer is not the same as a school recognition. Before issuing a student visa, you must obtain CoE and check the name, date of birth and passport information verbatim.

2. Time frame for documentation and replenishment

Preparation of CoE, OSHC, GS statements, English grades, medical information and valid passports; Non-English-language documents must be accompanied by a qualified translation. Upon receipt of a request for a replacement, the request shall be responded to within the notice period.

3. OSHC to cover the full period

Visa arrangements are affected by the commencement and termination dates of insurance. When combining multiple paragraphs of CoE, OSHC should cover the entire period of schooling.

4. GS Presentation to provide background, selection rationale and future use

Those with Australian history or other visas to transfer students should be more aware of the rationality of learning planning and curriculum.

5. Cell phones, accommodation, transportation, banking and insurance settings completed after landing

(b) To take photographs of the house on the same day and to keep information on the contract and the door ban; OSHC policy numbers, nearby clinics and emergency processes are also confirmed.

6. Immediate notification of address and accommodation arrangements for minors

Visa conditions may require students to notify the school within a period of time upon arrival or removal. Accommodation and welfare arrangements for students under 18 years of age are subject to school and immigration requirements and to the necessary written consent.
