What should students do now?
The Australian Department of Education recommends that students first obtain an updated report card, attendance and completed module records. If information is not available from the school, help can be obtained from the Australian Skills Quality System (ASQA). The treatment of TPS may include the placement of suitable alternative courses or the treatment of unused school fees, the actual results of which are determined on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with statutory procedures.
Windsor College has both a refund policy and a record that providers are required to notify ESOS Agency and TPS Director when they cease to operate, and that students may be referred to TPS for placement. This school document cross-identifys the structure of the procedure, but the most up-to-date processing after the suspension remains in accordance with the Government TPS bulletin.
Impact on students in Taiwan
Affected Taiwan students are required to maintain admissions, CoE, receipt of contributions, attendance and attendance records, and to confirm TPS cases directly by means of communication with the Government Gazette.
