Landscape Architecture 結合 design、ecology、plants、topography、hydrology、materials、public space 與 climate resilience。它比 Architecture 更聚焦戶外環境與自然系統，也比 Urban Planning 更偏設計實作與空間塑造。
一、主要會讀什麼
UC Berkeley 的 BA Landscape Architecture 包含 core design studios、ecological analysis、plants、topographic form、materials and construction、visual representation 與 history；Cornell 的 BS Landscape Architecture 也強調 theory、technology、design studio 與 professional practice。
二、和 Architecture、Urban Planning 差在哪
- Landscape Architecture：公園、公共空間、校園、河岸、景觀系統、植物與生態。
- Architecture：主要聚焦建築物、室內外空間與建築技術。
- Urban Planning：更重土地使用、政策、交通、住宅與城市治理。
三、適合什麼學生
喜歡設計，但也關心自然、城市、氣候、生態與公共空間的學生。這個科系通常需要同時具備 visual thinking、research、field observation 與對 environmental systems 的興趣。
四、申請前怎麼準備
不同學校對作品集要求不同。可以先累積 drawing、photography、mapping、site analysis、model、environmental project 或 public-space observation。申請前也要確認該學位在目標地區與專業執照之間的關係，因為 accreditation 與 licensure 規則因國家而異。
