Community Development 研究 communities 如何組織、參與、取得資源並改善生活環境，會結合 social change、policy、leadership、sustainability、community engagement 與 program evaluation。
一、主要會讀什麼
常見內容包括 community engagement、social change、local development、public participation、sustainability、community services、leadership、program planning、evaluation、policy 與 diversity。
二、為什麼不一定找得到獨立 Bachelor？
Community Development 常被放進 Community & Human Services、Public Affairs、Social Science 或 Nonprofit Leadership，而不是固定叫 Community Development BA。選校時應看 module，而不是只搜 degree title。
三、和 Human Services 差在哪
Human Services 常偏個人與家庭服務；Community Development 更重 community-level change、participation、local leadership、collective action 與 place-based development。
四、適合什麼學生
- 喜歡地方議題、社區參與與公共服務
- 對 sustainability、inequality、youth、culture 或地方創生有興趣
- 願意做 fieldwork、community project 與 stakeholder engagement

ECU Community and Human Services 會讀 communities 如何運作與改變，並包含 social change、sustainability、policy development 與 400 小時 placement；ASU Nonprofit Leadership 也包含 Inclusive Community Development、Sustainable Communities 與 community service evaluation。
