Common features include community engagement, social change, local development, public participation, publicity, community services, leadership, program planning, evaluation, publicity and diversity.
ii. Why not find independence, Bachelor?
Community Development is often placed in Community & Human Services, Public Affairs, Social Science or Nonprofit Leadership, rather than a fixed name called Community Development BA. The choice of school should be based on a module, not just a search for degree title.
What's the difference with Human Services?
(b) Human Services, which often favours personal and family services; Community Development places more emphasis on community-level change, participation, local governance, integration action and place-based development.
IV. What students are suitable for?

Examples of courses
EU Community and Human Services will read how communities operate and change and include social change, continuity, policy development and 400 hours of place-placement; ASU Nonprofit Leadership also contains Inclusive Community Development, Sustainable Communities and Community Service evaluation.
