Health Information / Health Information Science studies how medical information is collected, managed, analysed, exchanged and safely used. It's not a general CS plus a little medical, but it's a combination of understanding of health systems, information technology, data governance and privacy.

I. What do you read mainly?

Common content includes programming, databases, health information systems, health data status cards, public and security, systems analysis, project management, corporate workworks, analtics and development support.

What's the difference between it and Computer Science?

Computer Science weighs together, software, systems and compulsively; Health Industries places technology in situations such as housing, clinics, public health, electronic health records and healthcare management.

High school can first strengthen Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics and Biology. The BSc Health Information Science, of Victoria, is a four-year system and requires at least three co-op work sites, showing that such courses are very practical in terms of medical information work.
