Health Sciences 通常是跨領域大學學士，會同時碰到 biology、chemistry、molecular biology、statistics、epidemiology、pathophysiology、health policy 與 social determinants of health。不同大學的 Health Sciences 差異可以非常大，選校時不能只看名稱。
一、主要會讀什麼
Simon Fraser University 的 Health Sciences BSc 把 basic sciences、molecular biology、statistics 與 pharmacology、toxicology、pathophysiology、epidemiology 結合；University of Toronto Scarborough 的 Population Health 路徑則更強調 biological、environmental、social、behavioural determinants of health。
二、跟 Biomedical Sciences 差在哪
Biomedical Sciences 通常更偏 laboratory、cell / molecular biology、disease mechanism；Health Sciences 往往更跨領域，除了生命科學，也會碰 population health、policy、epidemiology 或 health systems。
三、適合什麼學生
- 對醫療健康有興趣，但還沒決定是否讀 Medicine、Public Health、Research
- 喜歡 Biology，也願意碰 Statistics 與 health policy
- 想保留研究所、醫療、公共衛生多種可能
四、高中怎麼準備
Biology、Chemistry、Mathematics 是最常見的基礎。部分 BSc Health Sciences 會要求 calculus 或 science prerequisites，所以一定要逐校查看 entry requirements。
五、常見出路
可延伸到 medicine、public health、epidemiology、health research、rehabilitation、health administration、clinical research、graduate studies 等。
