[The world's top school, with its constant emphasis on internationality, has a deeper meaning than the so-called university ranking: QS has 15 per cent of the world's university ranking method, including International Facultry Ratio, International Research Network, International Student Ratio. THE World University rankings also include International Outlook in five core orientations, assessing staff, staffs and research.
This represents internationality and has reached the core of university competition. The question of whether a university can bring students to the forefront of the world is not just how many international students there are, but whether the professor ' s research continues to be linked to the global academic network. Today's knowledge is being updated too quickly, and in each of these areas rapid changes are taking place in the fields of AI, biotechnologies, energy, sustainability, medicine, financial science and technology, material science, international relations and educational science and technology. The reason is simple. Recent research does not exist only in textbooks, nor does it wait for the publication of thesis to begin studies. Many important research directions have developed, often in international seminars, transnational research programmes, co-directorship of doctoral students, revision of international journals, production cooperation and laboratory exchanges.
If professors are able to participate in these international research networks on a permanent basis, students are exposed to research issues that are not only knowledge-based but are developing. It's very important to students. So, when we assess the international character of a university, it is not only the number of foreign students on the campus, but also whether there are exchange plans in the school. The internationality of universities, one of the most critical core issues: Are students here learning from yesterday's knowledge or are they moving towards tomorrow's knowledge?
