PPE (Philiophy, Politics and Economics) places validation, system and economic analysis in the same degree. It is particularly suitable for students with cross-cutting interests in public policy, the political system, social options and economic issues.
I. What are the respective offers in the three areas?
- Philosophy: Logic, ethics, knowledge and reasoning.
- Politics: Political system, power, government, relative politics and international politics.
- Economics: Micro, general, modelling, information and policy analysis.
II. Oxford PPE. How do you read it?
Oxford PPE is a three-year university bachelor. In the first year, students are exposed to the basis of three areas, after which they can adjust their weight to their interest. The government also provides information on missions, interview preparation and course of events.
III. How do you prepare for high school?
Mathematics is important for the Economics section; Read, write and argue in support of Philosophy / Politics. History, Economics, Politics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc. may be helpful, but the actual requirements are still based on the target university.
For what students?
I don't want to limit myself to a single social field too early and accept a lot of reading, assay writing and Quantitative learning students.
V. Career orientation
Polity, Government, Consulting, Finance, Law, Think Tank, International Organizations, Journalism, Research, etc. PPE is an analytical degree, not a single vocational training.
