Physiology is an important foundation for medicine and biomedical science, from molecular, cell and organ studies to how the whole human body can maintain its functions and adapt to the environment.
I. What do you read mainly?
Bristol's Physiological Science starts with cardiovascular, respiratory, nevous systems, and extends beyond, memory, disase. McGill also defines physiology as functional studies from individudual molecules to organs and integrated organisms, which can cover endocrinology, neurophysiology, exercise pysiology, stem quell biology.
What's the difference with Anatomy?
Anatomy is more concerned with "what's the body, where, how it's made up." Physiology is more concerned with "how these cells, organs and systems work." The two are often learned together, but the core issues are different.
III. EQUIPMENT OF STUDENTS
- Like, Human Biology.
- I'm trying to understand the CPR, the nerve, the endocrine system.
- Interest in bimedical research, media, exercise science
- Allows laboratory and data analysis
IV. How to prepare for high school
Biology, Chemistry is usually the most important, and Mathematics helps. The actual prerequisite, depending on the university, cannot apply a particular school rule to all schools.
V. Common career
Bimedical research, narrational industry, clinical research, healthcare-relayed graduate study, media/education pre-academic paths, etc.
