Marine science is a cross-cutting area. Students can follow different directions, such as Marine Biology, Oceanography, Marine Gender, and Conservation, with very different curricula.
One, Marie Biology, what are you studying?
It focuses on marine life, ecology, evolution, habitat and conservation. Marine Biology BSc from Southampton joins the oceanography base, laboratory and boat fieldwork.
Two, what is Oceanography studying?
The study of the oceans as a system, including physical, chemical, biological and benthic geology, also exposes to efficient computing, sensory and information analysis.
III. Where's the difference with Environmental Science?
(a) Environmental Science, covering land, atmosphere, water, pollution and policy; Marine Science focuses on marine systems and coastal environments.

V. PURPOSE OF APPLICATION
Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics require different courses. You have to check whether you're applying for it, or whether it's "Marine" or "Oceanography" instead of "Marine."
