B.A. of the University of Law trained in reading jurisprudence, articles of law, reasoning and precision writing; But "getting Law degree" and "getting qualified to practice" are two things, and different national systems are very different.
I. B.A. Law, University of England. What do you read?
In the case of Oxford Law (Jurisprudence), the core consists of Crisminal Law, Constitual Law, Contractor, Tort, Trusts, Land Law, Administrative Law, EU Law, Jurisprudence, etc., and a large number of reading cases and statuses.
ii. Does applying for law have to go to high school first?
Not necessarily. Oxford made it clear that Law did not specify a specific subject; It will help, but it is not an admission review. What is really important is the ability to read, argue, write and reason.
III. Selected English Law School requirements LNAT
Oxford Law needs LNAT. Whether or not different law schools require LNAT, students cannot apply one school rule to all English law schools.
IV. Law degree and the Bar
The route between England and Wales has been adopted for SQE; Bar route provides otherwise. If you want to go back to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Canada or other jurisdictions to practice in the future, you should check the local regulatory body for recognition of overseas degrees and qualifications.
For what students?
Students who are willing to read in large numbers, who are sensitive to the details of the text, who like to argue and write, and who can look at the rules and the social connection at the same time. If you only like debate but don't like long reading, Law may not be the best college bachelor.
