Interior Design is not the same as interior decorator. It deals with space, human behaviour, materials, light, furniture, environment and experience, and often works with Architecture, Industrial Design, Landscape, Graphic Design.

I. What do you read mainly?

RMIT International Design emphasizes the relationship between people and environment, starting from how we live, work and play, building design capabilities through studio, spatial practice, materials, representation and interdisciplinary projects.

What's the difference with Architecure?

Architecture usually deals with the training of architects in the architecture, structure, regulations, cities and professions; Interior Design focuses more on indoor space, user experience, materials, furniture and conversion within established buildings. The two overlap, but have different specializations.

Many of the design courses require portfolio or self-selection procedures. RMIT's 2027 Interior Design admission clearly has a self-element task, so the application cannot be made for school results alone.
