Hong Kong Medical Service is not only looking at a high score sheet: first identifying the application, the type of qualification, the science subject and the interview.

For applicants from Taiwan High School, OSSD, IB, A-Level, Hong Kong medicine usually follows the international/non-JUPAS route; Medical schools will have more detailed rules than university schools.

I. First split between Jupas and Non-JUPAS / International

International/Non-JUPAS scheme for non-local international cases; Cuhk Medicine also has independent Non-JUPAS websites. Taiwan and other internationally qualified students do not use the HKDSE/JUPAS score line as their sole judgement.

II. SCIENTIFIC CONTEXT IS IMPORTANT
