Many students look at Finance and think about investing, but B.A. finance usually begins on the basis of Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Corporate Finance, Investments, and then extends to FinTech, Risk, Derivatives, Assembly Management or Quantitative Finance.

I. The two most common types

Business School Finance: Usually placed below BCC / BBA / Management, read a core set of business, then choose Finnish major. UNSW BCom is the kind of structure in which students finish specialized studies in Finance, FinTech, etc.

Quantitative / Mathematical Finance: Mathematics, statistics, programs are more important, and they are better suited for students who want to go.

Finance from the business school does not always ask Calculus for it, but it's always a math-oriented school. If the target is highly competitive Finance in Canada, the United Kingdom or Australia, it is recommended that courses such as Functions, Calculus, Statistics, etc. be retained and reviewed on a school-by-school basis.

For what students?

People who like numbers, business decisions, financial markets, analysis of companies and risks. If you prefer brands, people and ideas, you can see Marketing. If you prefer programs and models, you can see Data Science, Business Analytics or FinTech.

V. Common career

Corporate Finance、Banking、Investment Analysis、Asset Management、Risk、Treasury、FinTech。 Investment banks are not the only way out for Finance graduates.
