Warwick Economics BSc focuses on the analysis of markets, institutions and public policies using mathematical, statistical and empirical methods, with Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics as its main axes.

It's important. The more competitive Economics courses usually focus on Mathematics, and some of the British famous schools even prefer Further Mathematics. Mathematics prerequisite should be confirmed on a school-by-school basis before applying.

People who like mathematics, social issues, policies, information and logic, and who are willing to accept that "a problem may have many models for interpretation."
