ii. Must there be a Bachelor's degree in Demography Major?
Not necessarily. UC Berkeley currently offers a Bachelor's degree in Demography Minor instead of an independent major; Students are often trained in demographics in majors such as Sociology, Economics, Public Health, and Statistics.
