In the case of the Syracuse Newhouse teachings, students are exposed to audio/video reporting, editing, producacing, studio newscast and digital news programmes; Television, radio and film courses will also be extended to directing, edifying and programming workflow.

Two. What's the difference with Journalism?

At the heart of Journalism are interviews, verifications, public issues and reporting judgements. Broadcasting is more audio-based and live production. The two are often highly overlapping, but if you prefer camera, control room, sound, editing and instant production, Broadcasting will be closer to your learning style.

Three. What's the difference with Film Production?

(a) Film Production is mostly based on narrative images, directors, photography, art, clippings and long films; Broadcasting handles news, programming, live show, studio and multi-platform instant content more often.
