Biotechnology is the borderline between biology and technology, with common ranges ranging from molecural biology, genetics, quell biology, biochemistry, bioprossing and conversion of research results into product and industrial applications.
I. What do you read?
The core life sciences and biotechnology BSc was developed in the first two years, following up on the experiences of applied biochemistry, geomics, cell biology, commercialization, entrepreneurship, international project, and completion of research project or mission.
What's the difference with Biodical Sciences?
Biomedical Science focuses more on human, disease and medical sciences; Biotechnology uses biosystems more widely in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food, environment, industry and innovation.
iii. For what students?
People who like Biology and Chemistry and are interested in experiments, technology applications and industrial development. If you want more clinical treatment, you can compare Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing; If you prefer engineering equipment, you can see Biomedical Engineering.
IV. How do you prepare for high school?
Biology, Chemistry is usually the most important background, and Mathematics is very helpful. Schools have different subject prerequisites, and their applications are checked on a school-by-school basis.
V. Career orientation
Biotech/Pharma R&D, Laboratory Science, Bioprocesing, Genomics, Regulatory Affairs, Project Development, Research, and possibly MSC / PhD.
